Jeanette C. Phillips

Jeanette C. Phillips, 98, went home to be with the Lord on February 28, 2018 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born in Lakeland, GA on March 9, 1919 and was an only child.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Phillips and is survived by her daughter, Jerwann Slate, son, Ray Phillips (Sylvia) and two grandsons, Matt and Michael Phillips.
Mrs. Phillips was a loving wife, mother and friend. She was a faithful member of Park Avenue Methodist Church until the year 2000 when she moved to Jacksonville, FL.
Her kind and generous nature and her reflection of God’s love will be missed by all those blessed to know her.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at three p. m. at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. Reverend Hale Bishop will officiate. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Park Avenue United Methodist Church, 100 East Park Avenue, Valdosta, GA 31602. Condolences to the family may be expressed online at www.mclanecares.com.
