Janice H. Sparks

Janice H. Sparks, 69, of Valdosta died Friday, September 9, 2016 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on May 8, 1947 in Chatham, Louisiana to the late Cordis Herrington and Robertha Foster Herrington. Mrs. Sparks was a homemaker and a member of Messiah Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband, Daryl Sparks of Valdosta, four sons and daughters in law, Roger and Kristina Sparks of Grover, CO, Brian and Ansley Sparks of San Diego, CA, Kevin and Michele Sparks of Sumter, SC, Stephen and Ewelina Sparks of Orange Park, FL, grandchildren, Sarah, Jeremiah, Aubrie, Sage, Gabrielle, Aiden, Zachary, Amelia, Alzada, Pearson, Emma and Anabel, brother and sister in law, Larry and Judy Herrington of Covington and sister, Cheryl Camp of Lake Park.
Janice H. Sparks will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at 11:00 am. McLane Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the Sparks family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Messiah Lutheran Church for the benefit of the Choir at 500 Baytree Road Valdosta, GA 31602.
