Jan Barwick

Jan Barwick, 57, of Valdosta, died Sunday, August 19, 2012 at her residence. She was born on November 7, 1954 in Donaldsonville, GA to the late J. B. and Dorothy Glisson Bowen. Jan was a registered nurse and a member of First Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her husband, Danny Barwick of Valdosta, two sons, John Barwick and Ethan Barwick of Lake Park, two brothers and sisters in law, Cecil and Barbara Bowen of Fort Gaines, GA and Tim and Cindy Bowen of Donaldsonville, GA, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Jan is preceded in death by one brother, Mike Bowen of Donaldsonville, GA and her parents.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at one p. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Mr. Bruce Barwick officiating. Burial will follow in Redland Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until one p. m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
