Jamie Marie Cannon

Jamie Marie Cannon, 67, of Panama City, Florida and formerly of Valdosta, died on Friday, August 31, 2012 at Bay Medical Hospital in Panama City following a sudden illness. She was born in Lowndes County on May 31, 1945 to the late James and Mary Hill Rowland. She was employed with Regional Bank in Panama City and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Gene Cannon of Panama City, Florida; a son and daughter-in-law, Troy and Kathy Cannon also of Panama City; daughters and sons-in-law, Dawn and Mark Alston of Macon, Georgia and Jennifer and Randy Clark of Jones County, Georgia; 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; a sister and brother-in-law, LaWanda and Max Croft of Atlanta; a brother, Billy Rowland of Valdosta; numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for Jamie Marie Cannon will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Redland Baptist Church. The burial will follow in the Redland Baptist Church Cemetery.
