James Alexander (Alex) Carpenter

James Alexander (Alex) Carpenter, 38, of Valdosta died Saturday, January 25, 2020 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on September 25, 1981 in Anchorage, Alaska to Kimball Lane Carpenter, Sr. and Patricia Eileen Dennis Carpenter. Alex was a stay at home Dad and was a member of Crosspointe Church.

He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Carpenter, son, AJ Carpenter, father, Kim Carpenter, brother, Bo Carpenter (Stella), niece, Lanie Carpenter, grandmother, Christine Harris Dennis, aunts, Pam Silver, Paula Browning (Jim), Carol Pendleton (Glenn), and Dolores Bair (Dean), uncle, Billy Dennis (Denise), cousins, Laura Garrett (Bill), DeDe Dennis, Amy Lott (Ting), April Sapp, Michael Sapp (Kelsey), Pamela Taylor (Travis), Erika Reister (Emil), Bryan Walker (Amie), Hector Orozco, and Katie Carpenter. Alex is preceded in death by his mother, grandparents, Wallace Dennis, Earl and Molly Carpenter, cousin, Kyle Sapp, Uncle, Wally Dennis, Aunt, Debbie Dennis and Uncle, David Carpenter.

A visitation will be held Thursday, January 30, 2020 from six until eight p.m. at the Carson McLane Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 31, 2020 at eleven a.m. in the McLane Chapel. Mr. Michael Buffaloe will officiate.
