ISAAC WILLIAM KILLGORE, JR., 81, of Valdosta died Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at the Holly Hill Nursing Home. He was born on February 15, 1923 in Valdosta to the late Isaac William, Sr. and Florence Ray Killgore and was a lifelong resident of Valdosta. Mr. Killgore owned and operated Killgore Plumbing Company in Valdosta and was a member of the former Forrest Street United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the United States Navy, a Shriner, a Mason and a member of the Azalea Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie Killgore of Athens, Cindy Killgore of Valdosta, one son and daughter in law, Danny and Kathy Killgore of Valdosta, grandchildren, Lisa Barnard, Blake Allen Reed, Ginny Reed, Zac Owens, Nik Killgore, Jake Killgore, great granddaughter, Amber Reed, one brother, Robert Killgore of Valdosta, one sister, Inez Wages of Brunswick, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Virginia Love Killgore, sister and brother in law, Polly and Lewis Rykard, sister in law, Verba Lee Killgore and brother in law, Lec Wages.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Friday, December 24, 2004 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Bussey officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
