Harold Eugene Mcleod

November 5, 1929 — March 20, 2020

Harold Eugene McLeod, born on November 5, 1929 in Miami, Florida, the son of the late Newton Flirl and Fannie Longino McLeod passed into eternal rest on Friday, March 20, 2020. He was a member of Mount Pleasant Church of Christ; served as Sgt. In US Marine Corp; retired as cable repairman technician after 35.5 years with Bellsouth.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Sarah Evelyn Finney Wisenbaker Martin McLeod; his brothers, George E., Raymond K., and Ronald F. McLeod; and Uncle Oscar and Aunt Mabelle McLeod.
He is survived by sister; Betty McLeod Cates of Hinesville, GA; nephews: Gary E. McLeod of Augusta, GA, Mark G. (Wendy) McLeod of St. Augustine, FL, Paul H. (Jo) Cates of Columbus, GA, David K. (Esther) McLeod of Cooper City, FL, and Michael D. (Tracy) McLeod of Miami, FL; nieces: Pamela Cates (Phil) Odom, Brenda Cates Turner of Hinesville, GA, Kathleen Cates (Bob) Rohloff of Council Grove, KS, Patricia Cates Mitchum of Cortez, CO, Susan Cates (Keith) Blandford of Louisville, KY, Keli McLeod (Eddie) Funderburk of Kannapolis, NC, and Rhonda McLeod (Chris) McCarl of Vero Beach, FL; special cousin: Carol England McLeod of Valdosta; and special friends, Ralph and Ady Romero of Lake Park, and neighbor Ismael Palacios of Valdosta. Special thanks to Ken Croft and Rustin Forsyth of Hospice of South Georgia.
