Gregory A. "Greg" Conner

Gregory A. “Greg” Conner, 54, of Covington, passed away on October 25, 2018. Greg was born in Valdosta on December 30, 1964 to proud parents Robert & Zelma Conner. For the last few years, he lived in Covington with his three children that were the joy of his life. Growing up in Valdosta, Greg graduated from Valwood School and went on to graduate from Georgia Southern University with a teaching degree. He taught school for several years in North East Georgia. He was an avid bowling enthusiast and enjoyed spending time bowling with his children in bowling activities. Greg was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include his three children, Michael, Michelle and Noah Conner and two brothers and sisters in law, Raymond & Cynthia Conner, of Valdosta and Steven & Jane Conner of St. Augustine, FL, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Zelma Conner.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at New Ramah Cemetery in Ray City, GA. Elder Jim Sandlin will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Carson McLane Funeral Home in Valdosta from 1 until 2 p.m. on Sunday, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Ramah Cemetery Fund, 3148 Garner Road, Ray City, GA 31645.
