Grady Paul Crosby, 85, of Ray City, died Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born in Doerun, GA, November 16, 1927, to the late Jack and Ethel Farmer Crosby. Mr. Crosby was a retired veteran of the United States Air Force and Food Service Manager for Valdosta State University.

He is survived by one daughter, Sheila Brannick, Hahira, a granddaughter, Sarah Faith Suggs, Hahira; grandsons, Nathaniel Phillip Suggs of Astoria, NY; and Joshua Paul Suggs, of Orlando, FL; a sister Jerusha Dyches of North Carolina, two nieces, Penny Dyches of North Carolina, and Brenda Townsend, of Mississippi; one nephew, Eric Dyches, of North Carolina. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Ivaline Ragan Crosby, and a son, Grady Phillip Crosby.

Memorial Graveside Services for Mr. Crosby will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2013, in Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Condolences may be made online at www.mclanecares.com. Carson McLane Funeral Home/McLane Crematory is serving the family of Mr. Crosby.
