Grace Stephenson Brantley

Grace Stephenson Brantley, 91, of Remerton died Saturday, December 20, 2014. She was born on November 11, 1923 in Remerton, GA to the late Charlie and Annie Brooks Stephenson. Mrs. Brantley was retired from the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Lake City, FL. She was of the Methodist faith, an avid antique collector, quilter and an excellent cook.

Mrs. Brantley is survived by her two sons and one daughter in law, Jay Perryman of Valdosta, Taylor and Bumdelger Perryman of Perry, FL, one daughter and son in law, Starr P. and Richard Epstein of Atlanta, six grandchildren, Tracie Gross (Nick), Andrew Johnson, Ricky Epstein, Annie Lee Livingston (Daniel), Ronald Perryman (Susie) and Scott Perryman, many beloved great grandchildren and nieces and nephews, one sister, Margaret Ann Morse of North Carolina. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Milton O. Brantley, two sisters, Charlene Blalock and Betty Ruth Dowse and one brother, Sonny Stephenson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at eleven a. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend John McGowan officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m. Monday at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed online at www.mclanecares.com.
