Gilbert Mark Jernigan

Gilbert Mark Jernigan, 67, of Hahira, died Sunday, September 9, 2007. He was born on April 11, 1940 in Harriman, TN to the late Lunie Jack and Hazel Sylvia Graham Jernigan. Mr. Jernigan was retired from the United States Air Force and the United States Postal Service and was a Mason.

He is survived by his wife, Gerlinde Jernigan of Hahira, one daughter, Karina Jernigan of Melbourne, FL, one son, Ken Jernigan of Tampa, FL, one brother, Jack Jernigan of Valrico, FL, two sisters and one brother in law, Ruby Poole of Oliver Springs, TN and Anna Mae and Carl Brill of Dover, FL, several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at four p. m. at the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira with full military honors. The family will receive friends from three until four p. m. at the funeral home. Condolences to the family may be expressed online at mclanefuneralservices.com.
