Gerald F. Leveille

May 31, 1937 — July 1, 2011

Gerald Francis Leveille, 74, of Hahira died Friday, July 1, 2011 at the Langdale Hospice House. He was born on May 31, 1937 in St. Ignace, Michigan to the late Charles Henry and Frances May Cloff Leveille and had lived in Hahira for many years. Mr. Leveille was a member of the Forrest Park Church of Christ and the Chippewa Indian Tribe. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and an avid sports fan. Mr. Leveille had been employed with Lowe's and Prinsho Products.

Survivors include his wife, Nell Boykin Leveille of Hahira, six children and their spouses, Lynn and Tyson Heard of Valdosta, Gerald (Sonny) Leveille of Valpariso, Fla., Gerry and John Renfro of Valdosta, Johnny Ray Luke of Hahira, Maxine and Robert Lott, Clark Shiver all of Valdosta, 8-grandchildren, 6-great grandchildren, one brother and sister in law, Larry and AraJean Leveille of St. Ignace, MI., four sisters and one brother in law, Ursula Smith of St. Ignace, MI., Betty and Paul Vigneaux of Rudyard, MI., Barbara Barens of Tawas City, MI., Sharon Brown of Anderson, SC. and several nieces, nephews and the Boykin family.

Funeral services will be held at 3pm, Sunday, July 3, 2011 in the chapel of Martin/McLane Funeral Home with Mr. Ray Joyner, Rev. Wayne Boykin and Mr. Bill Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Cemetery in Berrien County. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-3pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to help defray funeral expenses or to Langdale Hospice House, P. O. Box 1727, Valdosta, GA 31603.
