Gerald Estes (Jerry) Adams, 63, of Valdosta, died Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at his residence. He was born on January 16, 1942 in Garland, Arkansas to the late Willard Estes and Bessie Foster Adams. Mr. Adams was employed with the Roger Budd Company, was an Army Veteran and a member of Bridge Builders Community Church.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Adams of Valdosta, two daughters, Tresia Adams of Valdosta, Cherie Kinney of Nashville, Arkansas, one son and daughter in law, Willard and Beth Adams of Valdosta, one step daughter and step son in law, Annette and Steve Eddy of Texarkana, Arkansas, one step son, Roy Cornett of Valdosta, one granddaughter, Cailey Adams, one step grandson, Steven Eddy, one step granddaughter, Angela Eddy, one brother, Terrell Adams of Valdosta and is preceded in death by one son, Robert Kinney.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 14, 2006 at two p. m. at the Bridge Builders Community Church, 3323H Bemiss Road, Valdosta, GA with Pastor Daren Waters officiating. Mr. Adams will be cremated. Condolences to the family may be expresses online at mclanefuneralservices.com.
