George William (Cowboy) Connell

George William (Cowboy) Connell, 71, of Valdosta died on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born on January 3, 1945 in Tampa, Florida to the late Earl and Carol Sumlin Connell. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served his country during the Viet Nam War. Mr. Connell had been a masonary with Tim Carrington Construction and was a member of Gateway Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Wiggins of Valdosta; two daughters and a son-in-law, Nicole and Brandon Goldman of Valdosta and Michelle Wildman of West Palm Beach, Florida; a son, Jeff Connell of West Palm Beach, Florida; a grandson, Wyatt Goldman; seven siblings; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
