George A. Morrison

George A. Morrison, 87, of Northport, AL died Sunday, December 5, 2004 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, AL. He was born in Ohio on September 20, 1917 to the late Charles Lee and Nancy Ellen Watkins Morrison. He was a retired postmaster and an army veteran.

Mr. Morrison is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mae Jones Morrison of Northport, AL, two daughters and sons in law, Nancy and Nick Stinnett of Northport, AL and Mary Leigh and B. J. Cox of Huntsville, AL, three grandchildren and one great grandson.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, December 9, 2004 at eleven a. m. in Dasher Cemetery with Mr. Evans McMullen officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p. m.
