Freda Dean Bullock

Freda Dean Bullock, 85 of Valdosta, died on Saturday, December 31, 2005 at Lakehaven Nursing Home. Born on August 8, 1920 in Senatobia, MS, she was the daughter of the late Wirt L., Sr. and Aniston Williams Dean and the widow of James W. Bullock. Mrs. Bullock was a member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church and the Amaryllis Garden Club.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, James B. and Monti Bullock of Palm Harbor, FL, David W. and Elaine Bullock of Weddington, NC; five grandchildren, Joshua Bullock, Colby Bullock, Ben Bullock, Anna Bullock, Ginna Kelley and her husband, Scott; one great grandson, Ben Kelley; one brother, Billy Dean of Greenwood, MS and one sister, Leona Jackson of Memphis, TN.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bullock will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 2, 2006 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Rikard and Rev. Lance Kindred officiating. Burial will be at Friendship Cemetery in Columbus, MS on Wednesday, January 4. The family will receive friends on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
