Ronald Parr, 75, of Valdosta, died Friday, July 30, 2010 at Smith Northview Hospital. He was born in Berrien County, GA on August 26, 1934 to the late William A. and Ona Mae Johnson Parr. Mr. Parr was a night auditor at Days Inn in Lake Park, was a United States Army veteran and a member of New Harvest United Methodist Church.
He is survived by one daughter and son in law, Rhonda and James Dopp of Valdosta, Mike and Nancy Parr of Valdosta, Ray and Becky Mathis Parr of Hahira, six grandchildren, Christopher Dopp, Melissa Dopp, Leanne Millican, William Parr, Zachary Parr and Grayson Parr, three great grandchildren, Kali Millican, Kari Millican and Ryan Millican, two nieces, Linda Plair and Jayne Kirk.
A memorial service will be held Friday, August 6, 2010 at eleven a. m. in the Magnolia Room Chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
