Frank Suggs Tucker

Frank Suggs Tucker, 66, of Quitman died Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born on July 19, 1944 in Moultrie to the late Pearlie Mae Watson Bohler and had lived in Lowndes and Brooks Counties for many years. Mr. Tucker was a member of the Church of God and retired from the maintenance department at Valdosta State University. He was a great husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and being with family. Mr. Tucker enjoyed Christian and Country Music and old westerns.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Tucker of Quitman, five daughters and sons in law, Betty and Mike Menear of Warner Robins, Brenda and Bobby Graham of Lake Park, Tammy and Steve Yarbrough of Quitman, Adlelee and Gary Howell, Sr. of Lake Park, Sharon and Matthew Bradshaw of Hahira, 15-grandchildren, Ryan Menear, Chad Menear both of Warner Robins, Carrie Graham, Jennifer Graham both of Quitman, Nicki Moore, Corey Moore both of Hahira, Christi Yarbrough of Quitman, Gary Howell, Jr., Michelle Howell, Brittany Hunt, Jimmy Hunt all of Lake Park, Daniel Kracke of Panama City, Fla., Matthew Kracke of Valdosta, Ana-Grace Bradshaw, Tucker Bradshaw of Hahira, 6-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Kracke and by the parents who raised him, Vola Bell and T. E. Suggs.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Sunday, January 2, 2011 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Mr. James Yarbrough officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
