Evelyn Zant Mcabee

Evelyn Zant McAbee, 87, of Lake Park GA, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020 at Heritage House. She was born in Orangeburg, SC, on December 23, 1932 to the late James Robert Zant and Tommie Hogan Zant. She moved to Lake Park, GA, at an early age. She was a homemaker and loved being a mom. She lived in many places around the country such as California, Texas, and South Carolina, but always returned to Lake Park.
Mrs. McAbee is survived by cousins, Betty Sue Zant, of Valdosta, Robert (Sue) Zant, of Houston, TX, Everett (Pat) Bozard of Johns Island, SC, and Betty Jean Thomason, of San Mateo, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Mac McAbee, and daughter Mary Catherine McAbee.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Lake Park Cemetery with Dr. Keith Sandlin officiating.
