Evelyn L. Price

Evelyn L. Price, 87, formerly of Valdosta, died on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the Lakeland Villas following a lengthy illness. She was born on November 12, 1923 in Lake City, Florida to the late John and Annie Landrum Little and has been a resident of this area for the past 50 years. She was employed for a time with Parkwood Development Center and was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a son, Bobby Price of Valdosta; a granddaughter, April Findley and a grandson, Derek Verver both of Little Rock, Arkansas; many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Price, a son, Ray Price and daughter, Nancy Kaye Verver.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 1 p.m. in the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens with Dr. Skip Van VanNus officiating.
