Eugene Wayne Salmon

Eugene Wayne Salmon, 70, of Valdosta and formerly of Jacksonville, FL passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016 at his home after a lengthy illness with pulmonary fibrosis. He was a graduate of Paxon School and retired from the Jacksonville Public Works Department. Mr. Salmon was a member of Normandy Baptist Temple and a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Leaving to mourn are his mother, Madge Salmon; his sister and brother in law, Diane (Charles) Turner; his nephew, Justin (Amber) Turner and their son, Eli Turner; his niece, Mandi Biery and her sons, Braydon Biery and Dawson Biery. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd J. Salmon. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the St. Vincent's Critical Care Unit and their doctors for their care and help for Wayne during his illness.
