Ethel Anne Crawley

Ethel Anne Crawley, 83, of Valdosta, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020, surrounded by her family. She was born on April 7, 1937, in Campbell County, VA to the late Frank and Ethel Ellyson Clowdis. Mrs. Crawley was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed the company of others. She loved golf, playing Bridge, and doing crossword puzzles. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Valdosta.
She is survived by her husband James Rodwell Crawley, of Valdosta; her daughters, Ann Marie (Frank) Fiene, of Jacksonville, FL, and Debra (Mark) Mataosky, of Isle of Palms, SC; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Richard) Rouse, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Laura (Sharoon) Akhtar, of Jacksonville, FL, Christian Mataosky, and Holly Mataosky, both of Isle of Palms, SC; two great grandchildren, Cassidy Rouse and Trevor Rouse, both of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two brothers and sisters in law, William and Peggy Clowdis, and Robert and Shirley Faye Clowdis, both of VA; a sister and brother in law, Nancy and Billy Mitchell, of VA. Mrs. Crawley was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Ned Clowdis, Marie Harper, and Beth Johnson.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at 1p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Bro. Clyde Stokes officiating.
