Ernest "Chucky" Passmore

May 5, 1940 — December 11, 2016

Ernest "Chucky" Passmore, 76, of Lake Park, died on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at his residence following a short illness. He was born on May 5, 1940 in Barney, Georgia to the late Christopher and Ella Lee Omens Passmore and has been a resident of this area all of his life. Chucky loved to watch westerns on T.V., and eat popcorn and ice cream and drink root beer. He also loved to ride in the country and enjoyed the scenery around him. He was also looking forward to the Christmas holidays.

Survivors include his twin sister, Ernestine "Tena" Kirkland of Lake Park; a host of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ollie Mae and Viola, and five brothers, Irvin, Wallace, Jay, Herbert, and Ruebin.

Services for Ernest "Chucky" Passmore will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will follow in the Lake Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com. McLane Lakewood.
