Emilio Sarabia

Emilio Sarabia, 37, of Valdosta, died from injuries sustained in an accident on Saturday, February 28, 2009. Born in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico on April 5, 1971, he had been a resident of this area for the past 20 years. Emilio loved life and loved to play soccer on Sunday mornings with his many friends.

Survivors include two sons, Juan Carlos Sarabia and Pedro Sarabia, both of Valdosta and a daughter, Yadira Elizabeth Sarabia of Valdosta; his father, Vicente Sarabia of Texas; his mother, Guillermina Midueno, of Texas; two brothers, Vicente Sarabia of Florida and Rodolfo Sarabia of Texas; four sisters, Victoria Sarabia & Andrea Sarabia, both of Florida, and Carmela Sarabia & Malena Sarabia, both of Texas. Also surviving are a special friend, Vickie Wilson of Valdosta and the mother of his children, Elizabeth Hinojo of Valdosta. He is preceded in death by a sister Narcisa Sarabia.

Funeral services for Emilio will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 6, 2009 at the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens.
