Edwin "Eddie" Lyle Wisenbaker

Edwin "Eddie" Lyle Wisenbaker, 48, of Lowndes County died Friday, September 26, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Valdosta, Lowndes County, Georgia on November 12, 1965 to the late Bobby Louis Wisenbaker and Coretha Coody Roark Wisenbaker. Edwin was disabled. He was a quadriplegic as a result of an automobile accident that occurred in February 2006. As a child he attended the Redland Church of Christ with his parents.

Survivors include his two daughters, Brittany Richardson and husband Jacob of Louisa, Virginia and Marra Leigh Wolf of Gordonsville, Virginia, grandsons, Leo Edwin Kean Richardson and his twin brother, Lucan Robert Richardson, granddaughter, Chloe Sophia Leigh Richardson, two brothers, Gordon Louis Wisenbaker and half brother, Everett Price Roark, Jr. both of Valdosta. He is also survived by the mother of his two daughters, Becky Bennett Wolf of Gordonsville, VA and leaves his loved dog, "Rock" in the care of his brother, Gordon. Also Eddie leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends surviving him. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Alton Leon Wisenbaker and his half brother, Jerrold David Roark, his grandparents, Louis and Cuba Carter Wisenbaker and Frank and Ella Adams Coody.

Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, September 29, 2014 at three p. m. at Redland Church of Christ Cemetery with Mr. Bruce Barwick, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends from four until six p. m. Sunday at the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Redland Church of Christ.
