Edie Coppage

Edie Coppage, 87, of Hahira, died Monday, March 16, 2009 at Shand's at University of Florida Hospital in Gainesville, FL. She was born on September 28, 1921 in Piedmont, SC to the late Avery and Exie Cope Parker. Mrs. Coppage was a retired evangelist, a waitress, she owned and operated a restaurant, was a massager, a greeter for a chiropractor osteopath and a hairdresser.

Mrs. Coppage is survived by many friends, Chris and Larry Smith and Tammy Smith of Hahira, Betty Starnes and family and Jack and Corkie Hampton of Tallahassee, FL, other numerous friends and family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph J. Coppage.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 19, 2009 at two p.m. in the chapel of the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira with Mr. Jack Hampton and Mr. John Starnes officiating.
