Doyle E. Miller

Doyle E. Miller, 73, of Valdosta, died Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at South Georgia Medical Center. Born on April 11, 1935 in Iron City, he was the son of the late Lonnie M. (Buck) and Allie Mae Ingram Miller. Mr. Miller was retired from Georgia Power where he worked as a Safety Engineer for 35 years. He was also a previous owner of Truck Center of South Georgia and was employed with Tillman Motors for 12 years. Mr. Miller was a member of Clyattville United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Lynda A. Miller of Valdosta; daughters and son-in-law, Cynthia M. & Billy Dennis of Marietta and Melanie Dawn Miller of Valdosta; stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Douglas W. and Kristy Hubbard of Saint Augustine, FL; grandchildren, Amanda Dennis, Reidar Hubbard, Kirsten Hubbard; sister, Annette McDaniel of Iron City.

Services will be held at 4 P.M. on Thursday, August 28, 2008 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Mollie Danner officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens.
