Dorothy Elizabeth Thomas Johnson

Dorothy Elizabeth Thomas Johnson, 70, of Valdosta died Tuesday, November 16, 2004 at South Georgia Medical Center after a sudden illness. She was born in Washington, D. C. to the late Carl and Bessie Riddle Thomas. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and was loved by everyone that she touched.

Mrs. Johnson is preceded in death by her husband, C. W. Johnson, one son, Dan Merchant and one daughter, Donna Menasco and is survived by her children, Pam Merchant of Valdosta, Diane Merchant of California, Sam Eagle of Washington, D. C., Brian Menasco and Steven Merchant of Tallahassee, FL and Heather Rogers and family of Chattahoochee, FL, and Mike and Mary Merchant of California and best friend, Rachel Menasco of Tallahassee, FL.

Mrs. Johnson requested to be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church.
