Doris Oneal Clifton Sheppard

Doris Oneal Clifton Sheppard, 86, of Valdosta, died on Saturday, December 31, 2016, following a lengthy illness. Born in Lakeland to the late Barney & Katie Cribb Clifton, she was a lifelong resident of this area. Mrs. Sheppard was a homemaker and a member of Northside Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Linda Ray Paul, of Valdosta, Pamela Sue Gable of Thomasville, and Debby Lynn Varnes of Valdosta; nine grandchildren, Bobby (Christy) Keene, Jimmy Kemp, Jamie Wynn, Lee Cater, Tara (Duke) Mote, Krystal Fussell, Kelly (Jody) Newell, Ashlee (John) Holloway, Casey Varnes, and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alton Sheppard.
