Diane Earle

Diane Earle, 62, of Valdosta, brought in the New Year with Jesus in Heaven on Saturday, January 1, 2011. She passed from this life at Louis Smith Memorial Hospital.

She was born August 2, 1948 in Roswell, NM, a daughter of the late Nicholas Schmidlkofer and the late Fran Belcher Schmidlkofer Zellner, and had lived in the Valdosta area for over thirty-seven years. She was a foster mother for many years and was a mother to everyone. She raised her family and loved them all too much. Everyone loved Diane, she had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh, was a true giver to a fault, and enjoyed reading.

She is survived by her four children, Nick Roehm and wife Leslie of Lake Park, Debby Earle of Valdosta, Scott Earle and wife Debbie of Avon, IN, and Daniel Earle of Valdosta; four grandchildren, Andrew Earle, Miranda, Madelyn and Faith Roehm; one brother, Pete Schmidlkofer and wife Carol of Franklin, WI; two nieces and one nephew. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her step-mother, Marie Schmidlkofer, and her step-father, Larry Zellner.

Funeral Services for Ms. Earle will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2011, at Faith Assembly of God with Pastor Gerry Russo officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany Cemetery. Diane’s family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2011 at the Carson McLane Funeral Home.
