Deloris Mildred Stewart, 72, of Valdosta, died on Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at the home of her daughter. Born in Hamilton County, Florida, on July 11, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Ovida Cox Hunter. Mrs. Stewart was a retired medical records clerk. She was the widow of the late Burie O'Neal Stewart and she was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are her daughters, Deana Clark of Valdosta, Terry and Mark Mink of Valdosta, a son, Tony English of Valdosta; a sister, Phyllis Black and a brother, Garnett Hunter.

Reverend Charlie Scarbrough will officiate at funeral services for Mrs. Stewart, today, Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Wayfare Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, today, from 12:30 until service time. Carson McLane Funeral Home is serving the family of Mrs. Stewart.
