Debra K. Smith

Debra K. Smith, 59, of Valdosta, died Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Valdosta on April 24, 1956 to the late Gene Ketring and Patricia Carol Harnage Ketring. Debra was a courier for Doctor's Lab for forty one years. She was a member of Ousley Baptist Church. Debra enjoyed clogging, Irish dancing, quilting and sewing.
She is survived by her husband, James Smith of Valdosta, two daughters, Tracey Sirmans and Kimberly Boyd of Valdosta, son, Jared Weeks (Camile) of South Dakota, step daughter, Ashley Frier (Buck), step sons, Dustin Smith (Kandace) and Justin Smith (Ashley) all of Valdosta, grandchildren, Kelly Davis (Andrew), Shane Sirmans, Cassidy Sirmans, Savannah Fletcher, Sayla Boyd, Karsyn Boyd, Kamry Boyd, Abbri Weeks, Kamryn Weeks, Brennen Weeks, Jordyn Frier, Braelyn Frier, Clay Frier, Summer Epler, Kayla Smith, Emily Smith, Tanner Smith, Taylor Smith and Avah Smith, two sisters, Tammy Ganas (Johnny) of Valdosta, April James (J. D.) of Monticello, FL, two brothers, Ward Ketring (Emily) and Earl Ketring (Laurie) all of Perry, FL, three step sisters, Renee Bradford (James) of Morven, Sandra Lynn Smith of Lakeland and Alacia Westmoreland of Valdosta and one great grandchild on the way.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 30, 2016 at two p. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Franklin Vinson officiating. Pallbearers will be Shane Sirmans, Justin Smith, Dustin Smith, Andrew Davis, Micheal Crump and Johnny Ganas. Burial will follow in Ousley Cemetery.
