Deborah Lee Schrader Mckay

Deborah Lee McKay, 49, of Valdosta, died on Thursday, March 9, 2006, at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Mrs. McKay was a homemaker and a Catholic. She was born in Danbury, Connecticut on August 27, 1956, the daughter of the late, Robert Henry and Sara Mae Morse Schrader.

Survivors are her husband, Fred McKay of Lake Park, sons and daughter in law, Chris and Missy McKay of Seymour, Connecticut, Adam McKay of Lake Park, sister, Donna Ward of Lake Park, brother and sister in law, Wayne and Gert Schrader of Milford, Connecticut, grandchildren, Taylor McKay of Seymour, Connecticut, Ashley McKay of Seymour, Connecticut, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Lake Park Cemetery. Father Marvin LeFrois will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at McLane Lakewood Funeral. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
