David Griffin

David Lanier Griffin, 51, of Hahira died on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born in Valdosta on October 13, 1969. David has been a lifelong resident of Hahira and was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, and racing. Nothing brought him more joy than watching his nephews and nieces play their sports. Family time was most important to him. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend.
David is survived by his parents, Raymond and Syble Griffin, of Hahira, his sisters, Shannon Chandler of Hahira and Gwin and brother in law Clay Shaw of Lakeland, GA; nieces and nephew, Abigail Chandler and Jacob Chandler of Hahira, Gailey Shaw and Ellie Shaw of Lakeland, his lifelong friend Ray Parrish of Hahira. David was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Clayton Chandler and nephew Colton Shaw.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 10am at Fellowship Baptist Cemetery with Reverend Ike Jefferson officiating. Burial will follow. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com.
