Daniel Raybon Bennett

Daniel Raybon Bennett, 53, of Hahira died Thursday, April 27, 2017 at South GA Medical Center. He was born in Valdosta on November 18, 1963 to Carl Ray Bennett and Marcia Sue Katz Bennett. Daniel was a merchant marine and a member of the Hahira United Methodist Church. He was an active volunteer for the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation and an active supporter of "Make A Wish Foundation". Daniel was a dedicated father and a devoted son. He graduated from Lowndes High School.
Survivors include his mother, Sue Bentley of Hahira, son, Cam Bennett of Hahira and former wife, Sarina Shoe of Pelham, GA. Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Carl Ray Bennett and his brother, Greg Bennett.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 30, 2017 at two p. m. at the Hahira United Methodist Church with Reverend Mike Davis officiating. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall.
