D. Wayne Moore

D. Wayne Moore, 67, of Valdosta, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015, at his home after a brief illness.

He was born in Valdosta on December 9, 1948, and was employed by Winn Dixie Bakery, later Crackin' Good Bakery, retiring after forty years. He enjoyed fishing and working in his yard.

Wayne is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Pauline S. Moore of Valdosta; brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Brenda Monk of Valdosta; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Nadaline and Roy Chaney of Woodbine; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Jessie Moore; mother, Marie Monk; and step-father, Kenneth Monk.

The Graveside Service for Mr. Moore will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at Good Hope Cemetery, Naylor, with Rev. A.M. Anderson officiating.
