Christopher Wayne Exum

Christopher Wayne (Chris) Exum, 18, of Valdosta, died Friday, December 07, 2007, in an automobile accident. Born in Valdosta on March 16, 1989, he was the son of Arthur Wayne and Ruth Ann Hunter Exum. He was a member of First Baptist Church and was a student in the Lowndes County School System. Chris was a kind-hearted boy. He was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt deer and go fishing.
In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by his sister, Kara Ann Exum of Valdosta; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Trapnell (Ruth) Hunter; aunts and uncle, Janice and Ronnie Pittman, Charles and Lama Exum all of Valdosta. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Trapnell Hunter, paternal grandparents, Eugene and Cleo Exum.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, December 9, 2007 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with the Reverend Mac Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 8, 2007 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Carson McLane Funeral Home.
