Christopher Sean Copeland, 47, left this life on May 8, 2020 after a sudden heart attack. He was born March 19, 1973, in Opelika, Alabama, the first son of Robert Aaron (Ron) and Billie Copeland. Sean was a charismatic, fun-loving guy who could coax a smile out of anyone he spoke with. He graduated from Lowndes High School in 1991 where he played football for the Vikings. He considered his daughter Makensie Lee Copeland the most impressive accomplishment of his life. He was a self-proclaimed lover of gadgets, movies, the Auburn Tigers, and most of all, teasing his siblings.
He is survived by his fiercely loving family, wife Crystal Copeland and daughter Makensie Copeland of Columbus, Georgia, parents Ron and Billie Copeland and grandmother Vera Bentley of Dasher, Georgia, brother Brandon Copeland (Kristin) of Newnan, Georgia and sister Mindy Fike (Tim) of Tallahassee, Florida, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Copeland and James and Gladys Cooley.
