Christelle Stalvey Browning

Christelle Stalvey Browning, 73, of Valdosta, died Thursday, July 21, 2011 at her residence. She was born on December 25, 1937 in Hahira to the late Wiley D. and Fannie Mae Rountree Stalvey. Mrs. Browning was a retired telephone operator from Bell South and was of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by her grandson and his wife, Lee and Tara Hendrix of Lake Park, her granddaughter and her husband, Crystal and David Hall of Clyattville, four great grandchildren, Summer Hughes, Shelby Hendrix, Hannah Hendrix and Hunter Hall and her brother and sister in law, James and Ellen Stalvey of Hahira. Mrs. Browning is preceded in death by her husband, William R. Browning, her daughter, Mary Jo Hendrix, her parents, Wiley D. and Fannie Mae Stalvey, her twin sister, Christine Stalvey McLeod, her sister, Edna Mae Williams and three brothers, Raymond Stalvey, Wilbur Stalvey and Gene Stalvey.
