Charles Ivan Kelly

Charles Ivan Kelly, 84, of Valdosta died Friday, November 7, 2014 at the Georgia War Veteran's Home in Milledgeville, GA. He was born in Valdosta on June 14, 1930 to the late Walter Miller Kelly and Blanche Zipperer Kelly. Mr. Kelly served in the United States Army, was a retired farmer, a wild hog hunter enthusiast and worked at the Valdosta Daily Times.

He is survived by one daughter, Dreamialyne Kelly of Stockton, one granddaughter, Jessica Lofton Porter of Stockton, two grandsons, Randall Frank Lofton, Jr. of Stockton and Charles Thomas Lofton of Valdosta, five great grandchildren, Violet Ainsley Lofton, Kellelynn Lofton, Hunter Lofton, Dalton Porter and Catherine Porter, two brothers and one sister in law, Ray Kelly and Doyle and Gloria Kelly of Valdosta, brother in law, Alton Lewis and family of Mississippi. Mr. Kelly is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Una Rea Lewis.

Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, November 10, 2014 at three p. m. at the graveside at Benevolence Cemetery with Reverend Carlton Allen officiating. Burial will follow.
