Carolyn Frances Hall Ellis

Carolyn Frances Hall Ellis passed in peace on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at the age of 95. Preceded in death by her husband, Glynn Thomas Ellis, Sr., and daughter-in-law, Kim Barber Ellis (Ricky). Loving mother of Glynn Thomas Ellis, Jr. (Dyana), Sheldon Ricky Ellis, and Randall Craig Ellis (Iris). Proud grandmother of Deserea Ellis, Shaun Ellis, Meagan Ellis Owen (Josh), Matthew Ellis (Blair), Whitney Ellis McConnell (Stephen), Leigh Ellis, and Brent Ellis. Great-grandmother of Victoria Ellis, Kaedyn Fiveash, Anna Owen, Luke Owen, Wayne Walker, Avery Ellis, Stephen Michael McConnell, and Vivian McConnell.

Carolyn will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving mother, an avid reader, and a generous provider of meals to the needy. As a young woman during World War II, Carolyn worked at the Savannah shipyard building Liberty ships. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church where she served on the kitchen committee until her later years.
