Carolyn "Eloise" Bennett Taylor

Carolyn “Eloise” Bennett Taylor, 87, of Valdosta, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019, at Langdale Hospice House. She was born on March 20, 1932 in Donaldsonville, GA, to the late Sam and Josie Littlefield Carver. She was of the Baptist Faith.

She is survived by her daughter in law Berta Bennett, stepson in law Chris Edward, both of Valdosta; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her three husbands Clyde Corbitt, Irvin Bennett, Sr., and Herbert G. Taylor, and her sons, Bruce Alan Corbitt, Irvin Bennett, Jr., and a grandson Joshua Bennett, and step daughter Judith Ann Edwards.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Pastor Buck Crumley officiating.
