Brian Jon Seemann

Brian Jon Seemann, 49, of Valdosta died suddenly after a short illness on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 in Marietta, Georgia. He was born on May 1, 1964 to Jane Ann Barkley Seemann and the late Donald Elden Seemann and had resided in Valdosta since 1997. Mr. Seemann was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church and a Power Systems Engineer with Yancey Bros. Caterpillar. He graduated from Walton High School where he played football and was on the wrestling team. He was an excellent wrestler that was undefeated. Mr. Seemann attended the University of Georgia and furthered his education in electrical engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He owned and operated Personal Touch Landscape Maintenance Company in Marietta for several years. He also worked for Cowart Electric in Valdosta and was currently employed with Yancey Bros. Caterpillar. He was a former member of the Val North Rotary Club and alumni of Leadership Lowndes. He loved fishing especially deep sea fishing, outdoor activities and all of nature.

Survivors include his wife, Jeana Bennett Seemann, his daughter, LaRae Love Seemann both of Valdosta, his mother, Jane Ann Seemann, his sister, Anne Marie Seemann both of Marietta, GA, nieces and nephews, Christopher Bennett Brinson of Mobile, AL, Daniel Randolph Brinson of Valdosta, Phillip Ryan Brinson of Mobile, AL, Mikaela Ann Ji Seemann, Arianna Janell Li Seemann both of Marietta, GA, his mother in law, Peggy Love Bennett of Valdosta, sister in law and brother in law, Pamela and Randy Brinson of Montgomery, AL. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Elden Seemann and his father in law, Ray Bennett.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Saturday, September 14, 2013 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at Empire Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1-2pm at the funeral home. Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the James David Eunice Legacy Fund, c/o Community Foundation of South, P. O.
