Bobby Jay Greene

Bobby Jay Greene, 49, of Crestview, FL, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. He was born in Valdosta, GA on July 20, 1972, a son of Bobby Linford Greene and Violet Williams Emery. He graduated from Valdosta High School in 1992 and was employed as a manager at Merry Maids. Bobby was always smiling and making friends, he had a great sense of humor and liked to pick on people. He was a Braves fan and loved to take walks and dance.
He is survived by his daughter, Taylor Dawn Greene of Pensacola, FL; his son, Michael Waldrip, of Valdosta, GA; his granddaughter, Harley Waldrip, of Valdosta, GA; his mother, Violet Williams Emery (Jon), of Crestview, FL; his father, Bobby Greene (Telete), of Canton, GA; his sisters, Melissa Holley (Chadd), of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Kristen Weaver Cook (Robby), of Crestview, FL, and Stephanie Adams (Chris), of Valdosta, GA; his special friend, Napoleon Williams, of Stockton, GA; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins; his grandmother, Joan Emery, of Valdosta, GA; his stepsister, Andrea Henson (Shane), of Canton, GA; and his stepbrother, Matt Weaver (Jeanie), of Canton, GA.
Mr. Greene will be carried to the home of his sister, 2005 Springhill Drive for visitation to begin Saturday afternoon until Monday 10am. A service will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 2 P.M. at the Carson McLane Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Stephen Hiers. Burial will be held at Friendship Cemetery.
