Bertha Ann Davis Storey

Bertha Ann Davis Storey, 78, of Lake Park, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 31, 2010, at South Georgia Medical Center.

She was born October 2, 1932 in Valdosta, a daughter of the late Perry M. Davis, Sr. and Bertha Lee Moore Davis. Mrs. Storey enjoyed her employment at Woolworth�s for twelve years, but most of all she loved caring for her family at home.

She is survived by two daughters and son-in-laws, Cynthia and Michael Hairr, and Janice and Gary Palmer, all of Lake Park; one grandson, Zachary Hairr of Lake Park; one granddaughter, Jessica Palmer of Atlanta; one brother, Perry M. Davis, Jr. and wife Gen of Beaufort, NC; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Clifford Horace Storey.

In keeping with Mrs. Storey�s wishes, private graveside services were held on Sunday, January 2, 2011, at Joe Howell Cemetery. There was no visitation. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.mclanefuneralservices.com. Carson McLane Funeral Home of Valdosta.
