Bernard "Billy" William Sarco

Bernard “Billy” William Sarco, 67, of Valdosta, died at his home on Thursday, September 16, 2021. Born in Wiesbaden, Germany, on March 19, 1954, Billy was the son of the late Bernard Frank and Frances Gearhart Sarco. He had worked as a manager for Kroger grocery stores. Billy loved county music and attending concerts at Wild Adventures. His favorite television shows were I Love Lucy and Andy Griffith. He enjoyed food, especially popcorn, he liked to dine out and enjoyed cooking spaghetti and making dinner on the grill. Billy enjoyed fellowship with others, and he never met a stranger.
Survivors include his sisters, Barbara Sarco of Destin, family friend Renee Walker of Destin, Florida; Debra (Terry) Rewis of Statenville and a nephew, Michael Rewis of Valdosta; good friends, Jeannie Slone of Hahira, Debbie Pike of Valdosta, and Susan York of Tifton; several aunts and uncles. Billy was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Steven Sarco.
