Barbara Sanders

Barbara Sanders, 97, of Valdosta died Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Fellowship Home. She was born in New York City, New York on August 11, 1921 to the late George Ernest and Harriet Pearsall Berry. Mrs. Sanders was a member of the Congregational Church in Vermont and Florida and affiliate member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Valdosta. She was a member of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her daughters and son in law, Kathryn Prats of Valdosta, Paula and Peter Flannery of Clifton Park, NY; two sons and a daughter in law, Kerry and Colette Sanders of Canton, GA, Peter Sanders of Christiansburg, VA; 8-grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1-great great grandchild; her sister in law, Linda Berry of Vermont. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stuart Cory Sanders, a grandson, Jared Sanders, a sister, Beverly Davies and a brother, Dudley Berry and her best friend, Louise Sanderson.
Memorial services will be held at 4pm, Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Trinity Presbyterian Church with Dr. Richard Hart officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
