Barbara Lee Woodcock

June 18, 1937 — April 16, 2012

Barbara Lee Woodcock, 74, of Valdosta, died at her home on Monday, April 16, 2012. Born in Franklin, North Carolina on June 18, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Hugh M. and Barbara Basben Smith. Mrs. Woodcock was a retired sales representative for K-Mart. She was of the Church of Christ Faith and attended Redland Church of Christ.
Survivors are her loving husband of 52 years, Danny Woodcock of Valdosta; daughter, Angela Woodcock of Valdosta; sister and brother in law, Doris and Milton Bradshaw of Rose Hill, North Carolina; granddaughter, Lindsay and her husband, Andrew Taylor of Boston; nephew, Mike Bradshaw and niece, Theresa Cronin; brother in law, Ray Woodcock and a sister in law, June Brown. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Mr. Bill Ward will officiate. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5 -7 p.m. at the funeral home.
