Barbara Ellen Simmons

Barbara Ellen Sibbett Simmons, 69, of Hahira, died Friday, March 5, 2010 at her residence where she has lived for the past forty two years. She was born on April 12, 1940 in Columbia, South Carolina to the late James Thomas and Eva Jeroline Hayes Sibbett. Mrs. Simmons was a housewife and a member of Pineview Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of fifty three years, Bobby D. Simmons, Sr. of Hahira, one son, Bobby D. Simmons, Jr. of Hahira, two daughters and one son in law, Victoria L. Corfee of Jacksonville, Florida and Jeri and Pete Forth of Hahira, five grandchildren, Christy Zieminski, Adam Corfee, Wink Barnes, Quinn Simmons and Stephanie Simmons and four great grandchildren.
