Barbara Cargile Creasy

Barbara Cargile Creasy, 63, of Lake Park passed away at home on Saturday, August 15, 2020. She was born in Valdosta on January 28, 1957 to the late I. J., Jr. and Theta Alene Stone Cargile and was a lifelong resident of Lowndes County. Mrs. Creasy was a member of Southland Church and a practical nurse with Hamilton County Corrections Department. She loved sewing, crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Ashley and Matt Folsom; two grandchildren, Bailey Folsom, Gage Folsom; two brothers and sisters in law, Hugh and Phyllis Cargile of Valdosta, Jerry and Beth Cargile of Greenville, SC; a niece and two nephews, Casey and Chris Campbell, Buck and Lindsay Carglie, Zachary and Nicole Cargile; special friends, Sandy and Mike Killeen and their family.
Memorial services will be held at 2pm, Saturday, August 22, 2020 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1-2pm at the funeral home. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares Carson McLane Funeral Home.
